Shadow Journey week #2

The cards I used are from Kyle Gray’s Angels and Ancestors Oracle deck and Colette Baron-Reid’s Mystical Shaman Oracle deck and Wisdom of the Oracle deck. I absolutely love these decks! My first card was Autumn… Release the old and rest. The book says Autumn is when the trees are preparing for winter and must let go of all the weight in order to continue to grow and prosper. In Celtic animal medicine, the Raven is the bird of healing and initiation. The healing brings in a shift that allows you to be more aware of your needs and desire. Hmmmm as I admire the card and start writing my thoughts in my journal, I think about the hardest lesson I’ve had to learn in this lifetime and that is to let go when it’s time. Let go of my kids and let them be themselves, letting go of things and relationships that didn’t work anymore, even as simple as letting go of material things that I don’t need or use. This is something that I already know but I guess we all need reminders.

Wind#63 The symbol of the wind represents the element of air; it rules communication, thought, song, and inspired ideas. Is also signifies change with quality both positive and negative. When the sign of wind comes calling it’s a sign of change. Perhaps you need to change your mind about somethings

Recognize the value of chaos, Windstorms, clear the air and spreads seeds so plants and trees can take root in New fields.

Great clarity and good things will come from it all. Remember, this too shall pass.

WOW what great words Mr Gray!

I’ve always liked change sometimes if things don’t change I fight the feeling of being stuck, but that’s just the Sagittarius in me. I guess these last 10 years have been nothing but change. Maybe the winds will calm down soon, not all change is bad.

Interesting who would I become if I stop telling the tales that have defined me until now? Hmmmm? Maybe I can manifest myself a new life by telling a new tale about myself to others. Interesting!

Why?

Motives driving intention; the power of knowing the “why”.

There is a great power in understanding your motives right now. When you are clear about it, your intention will then be a magnet for miracles.

That is so powerful and so true. Why do we do or say the things we say and do? I think there is always a reason behind our reaction to things. There are times when it appears that no matter how deeply you desire something, no matter how hard you work, the result you seek always seems to elude you.

Take heart, for there are benevolent forces who desire the best for you and have a much clearer idea of what is for your highest good.

Rejection is God’s protection.

Don’t chase after what flees from you. Don’t obsess over what eludes you. Don’t bang your head against the wall. Walk away there are other goals, other loves, other games, other successes waiting for you. TRUST.

Amen to that! That’s a hard one because we want what we want when we want it!!!! Work in progress for me because I have a habit of playing with red flags and painting then whatever color I like at the moment. And I know that’s a problem 😆 So yes I will be working on excepting the NOT FOR YOU’S.
